ATTENTION PARENTS OF PEE WEE TRACK RIDERS ... YOU are responsible for monitoring your child as they ride on the Pee Wee track. NO child may ride on the Pee Wee track without a parent supervising AND watching.
CHIN STRAPS, CHIN STRAPS, CHIN STRAPS ... Come on everyone, how many times do we have to say it???? EVERYONE MUST fasten their helmet chin straps. If you fall and the strap is not fastened properly, YOU HAVE NO HELMET PROTECTION!!!!! It's a simple thing, save yourself the pain and agony of a head injury. If you don't know how to fasten it, please see one of the staff and we'll help you.
MINOR WAIVERS must be completed for all riders under the age of 15. Click on the minor waiver page link http://www.miamimxpark.com/minorwaiver.html to print out the form. Form must be signed by both parents and notarized.
Effective July 1, the state of Florida has implimented a new law stating that minors under the age of 16 must have complete an OHV safety course if they are riding on public land (which includes Miami MX Park). To schedule a safety course, please contact http://www.muddymudders.com.
Please do not bring dogs to the track. According to Miami-Dade Parks & Rec regualtions, dogs are not permitted (except for resident management).
SAFETY ISSUES - 2 major safety concerns have arisen on the track. #1 - MX BIKES ONLY on MX Track. Pee wee bikes ONLY on Pee Wee Track. NO MX BIKES ON PEE WEE TRACK ... NO PEE WEE BIKES ON MX TRACK! #2 - ATTN PARENTS & KIDS - HELMET STRAPS MUST BE FASTENED!!! If you don't know how to fasten the strap, see just ask ... we will help you.
FULL GEAR - EVERYONE must wear full gear!! NO GEAR - NO RIDING - NO EXCEPTIONS!! Children under 18 MUST wear chest protectors! All helmets must be securely strapped! I'm sorry if you get mad at me, but this is for your safety!
WEATHER UPDATES - Just because it's raining at your house, doesn't mean that it's raining at the track!! Try checking the weather at http://www.Intellicast.com. Rains come and go ... we live in Florida! It will be a rare case that we actually close the track for rain.
MX BIKES ONLY!! - We can only allow motocross style bikes and racing style 4 wheelers on the track. No backyard beginner bikes or utility ATVs allowed!! ATVs must have kerf. ABSOLUTELY NO KICKSTANDS on bikes!!
As of January 1, ALL bikes must be numbered on all 3 plates. If you don't have numbers and want a great set of number graphics, contact http://www.K-RAEGRAPHICS.com to order a custom set for your bike.
EMERGENCY CONTACT FORMS - ALL RIDERS must complete an Emergency Contact form to be retained by the management. Please ask for the Emergency Contact form at the gate when you register.
PAY AT GATE - ALL riders and spectators MUST SIGN IN, PAY, and OBTAIN WRISTBAND at the gate before heading to the pits or the track. Anyone who will be riding any vehicle for any period of time MUST be registered as and PAY as a rider! We've recently had some dishonest people trying to cheat by not paying rider fees, but then riding. Anyone trying to "beat" the system will be asked to leave and not return. The sad part is that it is usually the parent's idea ... what does that teach your child??
